You will be prompted to install new Windows 10 updates again, but hopefully the newer round of updates will fix the display glitch. This will uninstall the current build of Windows 10 and go back to the one you were using previously. Click or tap the Get started button under Go back to an earlier build. Navigate to Update & security > Recovery. To do this, open the Start menu and select Settings. If that fails, you can rollback the Windows 10 update - provided you do so within 10 days of the update first installing.

Let the system search automatically for new drivers and install any it finds. The 'display driver failed to start' error appears on all the Windows 10 versions, like Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Creators Update, Anniversary Update, etc. To do this, scroll to find your display adapter, then right-click on the adapter and select Update Driver Software. Next, try updating your display adapter to a new driver.
